- For FCICM candidates who are done winging it
Pass the Final FCICM Exam With Structure, Strategy and Confidence
A focused coaching programme for ICU trainees who are tired of vague preparation, scattered resources and not knowing whether they are truly exam-ready.
The exam isn't hard. Preparing alone is.
You're clinically competent. You work in ICU every day. But the Final FCICM tests a specific performance — and no one is coaching you to deliver it under pressure.
Study groups drift. Everyone's busy, nobody holds you accountable, and you rotate through content without ever building the exam-specific skills examiners actually want.
You have access to everything — and a plan for nothing. Past papers, Facebook groups, old SAQs. Scattered resources with no strategy behind them.
"It doesn't have to be this way. One experienced guide. One structured system. Six sessions that move the needle."
The FCICM Exam Accelerator Academy is a 1-on-1 coaching programme that closes the gap between clinical competence and exam performance — fast.

Hot case structure drilled until it's automatic. You walk in knowing how to perform — not just what you know.
Hot case structure drilled until it's automatic. You walk in knowing how to perform — not just what you know.
Everything you get.
Built for you specifically.
This isn’t a call series where you take notes and hope for the best. You leave session one with a working system already configured around your exam date, your gaps, and your schedule.
Your personal Notion exam dashboard
Fully configured in session one — not a template, yours. Built around your exam date, your weaknesses, and your weekly schedule.
- Exam countdown and weekly study blocks
- Topic tracker with confidence ratings
- SAQ log and viva case bank
- Resource library linked and organised
Custom Anki deck
Built around your specific knowledge gaps — not a generic download. We identify the holes early and build the deck to close them systematically. Yours to keep permanently.
A clear strategy — books, timelines, and priorities
Fully configured in session one — not a template, yours. Built around your exam date, your weaknesses, and your weekly schedule.
- Recommended books and which sections actually matter
- Week-by-week timeline to exam day
- What to deprioritise — so you stop wasting time
Past exam paper walkthroughs
Real past SAQs worked through together — not just the answers, but the structure, the marking logic, and the specific habits that silently cost marks. You learn to think like an examiner.
Live viva practice and real-time feedback
Structured hot case viva practice with immediate, honest feedback. Not encouragement — a debrief on exactly what worked, what didn’t, and what to fix before exam day.
Virtual hot case scenarios
Realistic virtual hot cases run over Zoom — same format, same pressure, same debrief structure as the real exam. You get real reps before it counts.
Exam mindset coaching
The exam doesn’t just test what you know — it tests how you perform under pressure, after a night shift, six months into a prep cycle that’s started to feel like it’s going nowhere.
- Breaking the habits that derail performance on the day
- Managing anxiety and the internal narrative that kills viva confidence
- Building a pre-exam routine that holds when everything else doesn’t
WhatsApp peer support group
A private group of Academy candidates — people in the same exam cycle, at the same level, under the same pressure. Curated, moderated, and focused.
- Active candidates only — no noise, no strangers
- Moderated to stay focused on exam prep, not just venting
- The resource most candidates say they didn’t know they needed
FCICM exam-ready checklist
A structured checklist to assess exactly where you stand before exam day — covering knowledge domains, viva readiness, SAQ technique, and logistics. Know what’s done, what’s not, and what needs the most work.
- Topic coverage across all major FCICM domains
- Viva and hot case readiness self-assessment
- SAQ technique indicators
- Exam week logistics and preparation markers
Your personalised end-of-programme report
At the end of the programme you receive a written report documenting your journey — where you started, what you built, what shifted, and where your strengths now sit going into exam day.
- Starting point vs end-of-programme assessment across all domains
- Key breakthroughs and turning points from each session
- Your strongest areas and how to use them on exam day
- Final recommendations personalised to your exam sitting
- A record of everything you built — yours to keep
Everything above is included in the six-session programme at$3,000 AUD.
Nothing sold separately. Your Notion dashboard, Anki deck, checklist, and final report are yours to keep permanently — they don’t disappear when the programme ends.

What they Actually said
“I was finding it hard to structure my hot cases and stay within time. The session with Nilesh gave me a clear framework and examiner-style feedback that completely shifted how I approach cases. Highly recommend this to anyone sitting their fellowship viva!”
- Dr Madhu Asundhi,
Senior ICU Registrar, Australia
Answered Honestly
You're a Fellow, not a consultant. Why take coaching from you over someone more senior?
Fair question. A consultant passed this exam — sometimes a long time ago, under a different format, without remembering what it actually felt like to not know the answer under pressure.
I sat the Final FCICM, failed it, rebuilt my preparation from scratch, and passed. That happened recently. I remember exactly where the gaps were, what the examiners responded to, and what actually moved the needle — because I lived it.
I’m also actively publishing in critical care, running research at Flinders Medical Centre, and working in ICU every week. This isn’t retrospective advice from a comfortable consultant room. It’s current, clinical, and grounded in exactly the system you’re sitting.
Do you guarantee I'll pass?
No money-back guarantee. The exam is yours to sit, and results depend on the work you bring to it.
What I do guarantee: If you show up to every session, complete the work between sessions, and sit the exam — and you don’t pass — I will continue working with you at no extra cost until you do. The commitment runs both ways.
That caveat matters: this only applies if you do the work. If you miss sessions, skip the practice, and wing the exam, that’s a different conversation. This guarantee is for candidates who are genuinely in it.
Is this right for me if I'm still early in my registrar training?
This programme is designed for candidates sitting the Final FCICM within 6 months. If your written exam is still pending, this isn’t the right fit yet — reach out and we can talk about timing.
How is this different from an FCICM study group?
Study groups are peer-led and social. This is coaching — structured, accountable, and led by someone who has been examined and given feedback on exactly this exam. The feedback is precise, not just supportive.
What does it cost?
The full six-session programme is $3,000 AUD. That’s less than one failed attempt — which costs you a year of your life plus another sitting fee. Applications are assessed individually to ensure it’s a mutual fit.
How many spots are available?
This is 1-on-1 coaching alongside a full clinical and research schedule. Availability is deliberately limited. If you’re considering it, don’t sit on it.
Can I claim this as CPD?
Candidates have self-logged Academy sessions as structured educational activity under the CICM CPD framework
(Category 1: Educational Activities). We recommend discussing with your CPD Home before logging. We are not a formally accredited CICM CPD provider.
